If you love New England style seafood, you will love this cozy eatery in Siesta Key Village. The ambiance alone sets the Cape Cod beachy feel. The menu has everything good about New England seafood places, and then some. We stopped in for lunch on s recent weekday. We ordered: lobster bisque awesomely decadent , the Ipswich clam roll excellent and the fish tacos with blackened fish- was scrumptious. Even the cole slaw was spot on! Prices are reasonable and the service was great. Highly recommend the Lobster Pot!! We visited this place twice on our trip to Siesta Key. It has come recommended by a couple of friends. The atmosphere fair is casual. There is a very tiny bar. And if possible try to sit out front near the window to watch all the activity in the village. We had lobster one night and crab the other. They were both amazing considering we were smacked dab in the middle of Florida and neither are from the warm waters of the golf. The crab cake in particular was as good as in Maryland. Skip the fries but eat everything else including the key lime pie. Located in Siesta Key Village. Plenty of free parking. Had the lobster roll sandwich. Very tasty, plenty of lobster. My only complaint was the cole slaw. Have yet to find any good in Florida. Still working on that. My lunch companions had fish sandwiches, broiled, not fried. The service was very friendly and fast. Not too crowded that day.
